Robert Half is working with a well-established mining business that is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team on a temp-to-perm basis.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail and is confident managing high-volume accounts payable.
Reporting to the AP Supervisor, and working in a team of 4, duties will include: Processing and coding high-volume supplier invoices Matching invoices against purchase orders and supporting documentation Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies Preparing and processing payment runs Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders Maintaining accurate AP records and documentation Assisting with month-end reconciliations and general finance administration What you'll bring Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities Strong Excel and accounting systems experience Previous mining, resources, construction or similar industry experience is highly regarded, and prior experience using Pronto will be a plus (not essential!)
