Our client is a well-established South Easte public practice firm known for the quality of its client relationships and the calibre of its people.
As the firm continues to grow, they're looking for a Senior Accountant or high Intermediate.
About the Role You'll work closely with the firm's Managers and Directors across a varied portfolio of business and individual clients, taking genuine responsibility for the compliance and advisory work in your care.
You'll be responsible for: Preparing financial statements, income tax returns and BAS/IAS for a mixed portfolio of clients (companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals) Managing your own workload and deadlines, with support from a Manager rather than constant oversight Being a genuine point of contact for clients, fielding questions, explaining outcomes clearly,



and building relationships that last Reviewing and mentoring the work of Junior and Intermediate team members Identifying opportunities to add value for clients beyond the immediate compliance task at hand About You CA or CPA qualified, or close to completion, support is available to help you finish up if needed 4 years' experience in an Australian public practice environment Strong technical grounding across tax and financial statement preparation Excellent communication skills, confident and transparent with clients, not just with numbers Well organised, deadline-driven, and comfortable owning your own workload A genuine interest in client relationships, not just technical delivery What's on Offer A supportive, collegial team environment with real mentorship from experienced Managers and Directors Genuine variety across your client portfolio A clear pathway for career progression as the firm grows Salary based on experience If this sounds like you, or someone in your network, I'd love to hear from you.
