About Our School
Mt Maria College is a Catholic co-educational secondary school with an enrolment of over **** students. A school in the Marist tradition, we also draw upon the richness of the Good Samaritan and Good Shepherd charisms as we bring faith and learning to life for our students. About The Opportunity
Assist with the establishment of developmentally appropriate student learning programs (both at school and in the workplace) around employment transitioning, either individually or in groups, for identified students under the supervision of the Program Leader - Pathways.
Case manage and carry out liaison between the school, employers, the students and the students' families in relation to achieving successful employment transition outcomes.
Provide significant assistance to students with work preparation; eg transport, interview techniques, resume writing skills, customer service or other tasks associated with their work placement.
Liaise with employers and external agencies such as
Australian Apprenticeship Centre or Group Training Organisations,
Registered Training Organisations and parents for the placement sign up.
Attend the sign up within reasonable hours of duty.
Liaise with TAFE and other registered RTOs regarding student enrolments, attendance, placements and administrative matters.
Monitor and assist students in the workplace or at TAFE & Brisbane NorthWest Trade Training Centre.
Administer all appropriate paperwork including risk assessment for Work Experience /Vocational Placement Agreements & School-based Apprenticeships using established computer software programs.
Maintain displays, noticeboards, and careers resource information collections.
Use a range of Microsoft Office, BCE enterprise systems and other software in order to perform general administration duties as part of the College VET processes.
About You
Overseeing and improving systems and administrative resources, having recommended and implemented process enhancements
Coordinated daily administrative tasks,
managed workloads and fostered teamwork
Interpreting and applying legislation, regulations, and procedures related to school operations
Managing procurement activities and financial administration
Marketing and promoting administrative services, ensuring programs align with school needs and current trends
For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
Eligibility And Safeguarding Requirements
Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
