We are seeking a passionate and experienced Business and Humanities Teacher for a permanent full-time opportunity commencing Term 3, ****.
Full Job Description: This role is suited to an educator confident teaching Business and Humanities (Secondary Year Levels) within a values-driven and supportive community Independent school in Yatala - Gold Coast environment.
About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
Deliver engaging Business and Humanities lessons across secondary year levels, fostering student curiosity, critical thinking and academic achievement.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development.
Plan, assess and report on student progress in line with curriculum requirements and school expectations.
About You
You are:
Qualified teacher with experience teaching Business and/or Humanities subjects at the secondary level.
Passionate about developing students' understanding of business, society, history, geography and contemporary issues.
Holds current Queensland teacher registration or is eligible for registration.
Requirements
Relevant teaching qualification.
Current (or ability to obtain) QCT registration.
Full working rights in Australia.
