Overview
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a key role within our Nuclear Medicine department, working across multiple Sunshine Coast sites including SCUPH, Maroochydore, Caloundra and Noosa. You will be responsible for delivering high‐quality Nuclear Medicine and PET examinations, radiopharmaceutical preparation and quality control procedures, maintaining radiation safety standards, supporting and mentoring junior staff and graduates, and delivering exceptional patient‐centred care while collaborating with radiologists and multidisciplinary clinical teams. This role offers exposure in both hospital and private practice environments with a broad caseload.
Responsibilities
Perform high‐quality Nuclear Medicine and PET examinations.
Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and conduct quality control procedures.
Maintain best practice radiation safety standards.
Support and mentor junior staff and graduates.
Deliver exceptional patient‐centred care.
Work collaboratively with radiologists and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
About You
Current AHPRA registration and relevant Nuclear Medicine qualifications.
Demonstrated experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging.




Strong knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance procedures.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Passion for mentoring and supporting junior technologists.
