The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority is responsible for protecting and managing one of Australia's most iconic coastal landscapes. We care for parks, reserves and marine environments along the Great Ocean Road, including internationally recognised visitor sites. Working closely with Traditional Owners, communities and stakeholders, we protect environmental, cultural and heritage values while supporting sustainable visitation and long-term conservation.
About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Caravan Park Attendant to join our team supporting operations at the Anglesea Family Caravan Park. In this casual role, you will help deliver high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and presentation across both parks.
This is an all-rounder position suited to someone who enjoys a mix of front-of-house reception, cleaning, and grounds maintenance, all while working in one of Victoria's most iconic coastal locations.
What you'll do
Provide friendly, professional customer service at reception and across the park
Manage bookings and enquiries via phone, email, online systems (RMS) and in person
Maintain park grounds through mowing, gardening, rubbish removal, and general upkeep
Clean cabins, amenities, kitchens, and shared facilities to a high standard
Assist with basic maintenance and handyman tasks, including minor repairs and use of tools
Respond to guest requests and elevate issues as required




Support the protected and efficient day-to-day running of the Parks
What we're looking for
Customer service experience in hospitality, tourism, or retail
Strong communication skills and a friendly, proactive approach
Practical skills across cleaning, grounds maintenance, or general maintenance
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Good time management and problem-solving skills
Experience with RMS or similar booking systems (desirable)
First Aid and safe handling/chemicals experience (desirable)
Requirements
Current driver's licence
National Police Check
Working with Children Check
Valid Australian working rights
