Senior Project Manager – Medical Devices
We are partnering with a
global medical technology organisation
to recruit an experienced
Senior Project Manager
to join its growing Brisbane-based team.
This position will lead
New Product Development (NPD) and cross-functional projects from initiation through to commercialisation
, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
The Role
Working within a highly collaborative and regulated environment, you will partner with
Product Development, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing and Commercial teams
to successfully deliver complex projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
Lead NPD projects from concept through development and commercialisation
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets and resources
Coordinate multidisciplinary and cross-functional project teams
Identify project risks, dependencies and potential roadblocks
Develop mitigation strategies and drive projects towards key milestones
Manage project dashboards, KPIs and reporting
Lead project meetings and cross-functional reviews
Present project progress, risks and recommendations to senior leadership
Drive accountability across teams in a matrixed environment
Support continuous improvement of project management processes and tools




About You
We are looking for an organised and commercially minded Project Manager who can successfully navigate complex technical projects and multiple stakeholders.
Ideally, you will bring:
2+ years of dedicated Project Management experience
Broader experience across Product Development, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Marketing or a related function
Demonstrated experience managing
complex cross-functional projects
Experience with
New Product Development (NPD)
highly regarded
Experience within
medical devices, healthcare or another regulated industry
advantageous
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to influence teams without direct authority
PMP certification
advantageous but not essential
