Transdev Queensland is currently seeking a full-time Apprentice Spray Painter Body Repairer to join our Asset Maintenance team at our bus depot located in Capalaba. Capalaba is a suburb located in the Redland City area, about ***** km east-southeast of the Brisbane CBD with a typical travel time of around 35 minutes by car.
In this role you will be learning to assist in the repair, preparation and refinishing of buses under the guidance of qualified tradespeople. The role provides hands‐on training in vehicle body repair, surface preparation, spray painting, and finishing techniques while working towards a nationally recognised trade qualification – Certificate III in Automotive Manufacturing Technical Operations – Bus, Truck and Trailer.

What You Bring
Trade work experience is advantageous, but not essential
An enthusiasm to learn and receive feedback
A strong focus on safety
Positive attention to detail and the ability to work under instruction
Good oral and written communication skills
Computer literate in the Microsoft Office Suite
Full Australian working rights (an Australian citizen or permanent resident)
A current car licence or the ability to obtain one
Availability to work a rotating roster including Saturday morning
