Our client is a Melbourne-based commercial law firm providing practical, commercially focused legal advice across a range of practice areas, including real estate, commercial law and corporate advisory.
About the role:
Take ownership of a diverse conveyancing portfolio, managing matters from initial instruction through to settlement. Your work will include:
Managing residential and commercial purchases, sales and transfers.
Preparing and reviewing contracts of sale and Section 32 vendor statements.
Conducting title, planning, land tax, council and water authority searches.
Managing PEXA settlements, adjustments and associated documentation.
Liaising directly with clients, agents, banks, brokers and other solicitors.
Assisting with off-the-plan purchases and sales.
Supporting property development, subdivision and consolidation matters.
Assisting with property-related due diligence for acquisitions and investments.




Liaising with the State Revenue Office regarding stamp duty, exemptions and concessions.
The ideal candidate:
At least
3 years' experience
working in residential and/or commercial conveyancing in Victoria.
Strong experience using PEXA and managing electronic settlements.
A sound understanding of Victorian property legislation and conveyancing requirements.
The ability to independently manage a busy caseload while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Strong communication and client relationship skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
