Hubs are central field-based sites that coordinate staffing, logistics, resources and operational support during an election. The Staffing Lead plays a critical role in ensuring election activities are appropriately staffed and ready to do not need previous election experience.



We will train you on electoral processes and systems. We are looking for someone who can lead a team, manage competing priorities and coordinate staffing activities in a fast-paced operational environment.Day to day, you will:Lead a small staffing team supporting election operations across multiple districtsCoordinate the recruitment, appointment and onboarding of election staffOversee staffing allocations and rostering to ensure election activities are appropriately resourcedMonitor staffing progress and workforce readiness to meet operational deadlinesSupport election managers with staffing requirements and workforce planningManage timesheet processes, staffing records and workforce reportingAct as the local escalation point for staffing-related issuesSupport supervisors in managing performance, attendance and staffing concernsWork closely with hub teams and head office to ensure staffing milestones are achievedDuring a state election, workforce requirements change quickly. You will play a key role in building and supporting a large election workforce, helping ensure voting centres, early voting centres and election activities are staffed and ready to deliver for Victorian voters.What you will bring to the roleExperience recruiting, rostering or coordinating a workforce in a high-volume operational environmentExperience leading, coaching and supporting staff to achieve team outcomesStrong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesExperience working with workforce data,
