We're looking for casual RNs to join our multidisciplinary team at Canungra Health Centre, providing backfill coverage for our permanent team members and delivering high-quality care to Defence members.
Rostered days will vary depending on the site's backfill requirements but will generally fall Monday to Friday, between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm.

About Canungra Health Centre
Canungra Health Centre is located a short drive from the Gold Coast and on Kokoda Barracks. This is where officers and soldiers in the Australian Army Intelligence Corps complete their initial employment training, and all-corps training is conducted throughout officer and soldier careers. It was established in **** for Army jungle warfare and infantry training. It was closed from *********, however reactivated during the Vietnam War.



Services provided include primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmaceutical services. Standard operating hours of the centre are generally ********* Monday - Friday.
What You'll Do
Deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward setting
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals
Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care
What You Bring
Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care
This role is primarily Monday to Friday, day shifts, working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team and providing coverage for permanent staff leave on site.
