About the role
Join us as a Clinical Nurse Consultant and make a meaningful difference for people and families experiencing breast cancer, with a particular focus on the local Aboriginal community.
Working within the McGrath Model of Care and evidence-based practice, you will provide specialist clinical advice, information, education and support across the cancer care continuum. You will collaborate with clients, families, multidisciplinary teams, Aboriginal health services and community providers to deliver coordinated, culturally safe care.
This is an opportunity to combine specialist clinical practice with leadership, education, research, quality improvement and service development. You will help shape clinical practice, support healthcare professionals and contribute to better outcomes and experiences for people affected by breast cancer.
About you
You are an experienced registered nurse with specialist oncology/breast cancer experience, strong clinical leadership skills and a genuine commitment to culturally safe care.
You will have:
Current AHPRA registration,



with at least 5 years' post-registration experience and relevant postgraduate qualifications with at least 3 years' experience in the relevant field.
Strong clinical leadership, communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
Demonstrated ability to provide education, implement evidence-based practice and lead clinical change.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
A commitment to Aboriginal health, culturally safe and respectful nursing practice.
A commitment to ongoing professional development, research and quality improvement.
Current NSW driver's licence and willingness to travel for work.
