TRS Resourcing is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for ongoing workshop-based opportunities across Melbourne's transport equipment, trailer, tanker, and industrial manufacturing sectors.
These roles suit mechanically minded tradespeople with experience in assembly, fit-out, repairs, fault finding, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical components, and general workshop maintenance.
We have multiple long-term opportunities available with established Australian businesses offering secure work, overtime, and supportive workshop environments.
What's on Offer
$***** - $***** per hour + Super + Overtime (Subject to Job Assignment)
Weekly pay
Long-term work available
Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays

Opportunities across specialised transport and industrial equipment
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical fitting, assembly, installation and repair work
Fit-out of transport, trailer, tanker or industrial equipment
Installation and maintenance of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems
Read and interpret workshop drawings and technical documentation
Fault finding and troubleshooting across mechanical components
Assist with equipment fit-out,



modifications and repairs
Work safely and maintain high-quality workmanship standards
Work autonomously and as part of a workshop team
To Be Successful, You Will Have
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Electrician, or similar relevant trade
Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical assembly or electrical systems
Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability
Ability to read drawings and follow technical instructions
Previous experience in transport equipment, trailers, tankers, manufacturing, heavy vehicle, or industrial workshop environments highly regarded
Reliable attitude and ability to work unsupervised when required
