Greenfield Technical Services is a growing organisation providing Civil Engineering and Project Management consultancy services across the state.
We have worked with more than 35 local governments and in 50-plus regional towns covering much of regional and remote Western Australia.

We are looking for an
Organisational Development Manager
to join the Greenfield team to lead, develop and manage activities and initiatives across the employee lifecycle. This includes employee recruitment, development, engagement, communication and retention. As well as driving the Greenfield vision, mission, values and business objectives in collaboration with the leadership team.
This position is an integral part of the leadership within Greenfield, reporting directly to the Principal.
The position is fixed term (12 months – parental leave cover), part-time (two days per week or 15.2 hours across the work week - negotiable) and can be conducted working from home within WA only, or from the Geraldton office.
What the job involves:
High-level Organisational Development
Lead and drive the implementation of the Greenfield values, vision and mission across the business in collaboration with the leadership team
Drive the development, refinement, and implementation of agreed Business Objectives in collaboration with leadership team
Manage and implement any new organisational/employee development initiatives, including change management activities where required
Coordinate, facilitate and drive monthly Team Lead/Management meetings
Develop or review policies and procedures where required across the employee lifecycle
Organisational Capability and Recruitment
Develop and maintain the company organisational charts – short, medium and long term
Identify required organisation positions to achieve company goals in the short, medium and long term
Lead processes to recruit new people into the organisation to suit the agreed company organisational chart and values
Manage all steps of the recruitment process, including advertising, preparation and maintenance of job descriptions, review of applications, short listing, interviewing, offers, and onboarding
Develop and implement onboarding plans for new starters in collaboration with the relevant staff
Manage staff probation periods and any subsequent actions in conjunction with the applicable supervisor/s
Provide ad-hoc support for staff management activities to supervisors as required
Employee Performance, Training and Development
Review organisational training needs (primarily technical/position-specific training rather than OHS training)
Review organisational capabilities and potential gaps with reference to current and possible future work scopes
Maintain the internal Subject Matter Expert list
Develop, own and maintain a competency framework for developing employees in their current roles and potential future roles
Steward employee development through the developed framework
Coordinate the annual employee performance and salary review process
Manage any job description or position moves within the business in conjunction with the supervisor/s
Assist with the management and coordination of any underperformance in conjunction with applicable supervisor/s
Develop and implement offboarding plans when required in collaboration with applicable supervisor/s, including conducting exit interviews
Employee Retention and Engagement
Develop a structure/framework for increasing employee engagement
Consider ways to regularly measure employee satisfaction, steward developed processes and act on outcomes
Develop and manage the businesses LinkedIn page, and identify opportunities to use this platform to drive employee attraction, retention and engagement
Internal and External Communications
Manage Greenfield internal communications – e.g. project updates, staff updates, weekly staff Operational meeting, recent works, upcoming opportunities
Manage the businesses LinkedIn page, and identify opportunities to use this platform to grow the business
Promote recent projects on the page and connect with current and future clients
Engage with industry networks to promote Greenfield services and potential future opportunities
Develop communications about Greenfield to increase visibility and potential for future work

What qualifications and experience are required?
A tertiary level qualification in organisational psychology, human resources, organisational development, commerce or similar
Previous experience in an organisational development, employee development, or human resources role
Effective communication and interpersonal skills - oral & written
Computer literacy in the use of Microsoft suite applications
Highly organised with proven time management skills to effectively deliver multiple priorities
Ability to work effectively as part of a team with minimal supervision
Valuable analytical skills with an eye for quality and high attention to detail
Recruitment/candidate selection experience
Experience with the use of appropriate tools for internal and external communications (e.g. LinkedIn, etc.)
An appreciation for working from home/remotely and communicating across multiple channels e.g. phone, email, MS Teams
Experience facilitating team meetings virtually and in-person
Other Requirements:
Ability to work irregular hours and travel to and stay at the Greenfield Geraldton office occasionally
Current and valid Australian Drivers License - C class
