Emergency Medicine Consultant
to join one of Queensland's largest and fastest-growing regional health services.

The Opportunity Join a collaborative team of Emergency Medicine Specialists delivering high-quality emergency care across a busy regional referral hospital.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Providing specialist emergency care across a broad range of adult and paediatric presentations
Leading the assessment and management of critically ill and injured patients
Supervising and supporting Registrars, Resident Medical Officers and medical students
Participating in clinical governance, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Contributing to education, simulation training and departmental teaching programs
Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across the hospital
Participating in the consultant on-call roster

Requirements Applicants Should Meet One Of The Following Criteria
Specialist Registration with AHPRA (FACEM) and at least 12 months of recent Emergency Medicine experience
Currently enrolled in the ACEM Training Program
Recently qualified Australian or New Zealand FACEM
International Medical Graduate eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (UK, Ireland, Canada, USA or New Zealand)
International Medical Graduate with a confirmed ACEM Specialist Pathway interview date
International Medical Graduate assessed by ACEM as Substantially Comparable
