Job Description
n
We are seeking a passionate Commis Chef to join our culinary team. Working in a fast-paced kitchen environment serving our TurBARlence Tavern, room service and conference spaces. You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality food experience,



maintaining exceptional food standards and supporting the wider kitchen team.

Duties include (but not limited to):
n
n
Maintain consistent food quality, presentation and portion control
n
Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage
n
Prepare and ensureavailability of mis en place as required
n
Follow all hotel and kitchen policies, procedures and standards
n
Provide accurate menu and allergen information to the Food and Beverage team when required
n
Keeps all working areas clean and tidy
n
Be familiar with other areas in the Kitchen so when called upon, assistance can be provided
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
Previous chef experience
n
Relevant cookery or trade qualifications
n
Experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen
n
Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP
n
Positive, flexible and able to work well under pressure
n
Strong attention to detail and consistent food quality
n
Availableacross early mornings, weekends and public holidays
n
Full working rights in Australia
