An established professional services firm based in Maroochydore, recognised for its strong client relationships and team-oriented team environment, is seeking an experienced
Intermediate Accountant
to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to progress their career within a progressive practice, gaining broad exposure across accounting, taxation, and business advisory, with a clear pathway towards Senior Accountant as you develop.
The Role
Reporting to senior members of the team, you will be responsible for:
Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
Preparing and reviewing BAS and other statutory compliance requirements
Assisting with tax planning and business advisory engagements
Managing client communication and developing strong professional relationships
Assisting with more complex accounting and taxation matters




Working closely with senior accountants and Partners to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients
About You
To be successful in this position, you will have:
2–4 years' Australian public practice accounting experience
Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge
Experience with accounting software such as Xero and/or MYOB
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A professional, client-focused approach
CA/CPA qualification or currently studying towards completion
