The Senior Purchasing & Procurement Officer has primary responsibility for ensuring supply meets demand, that product quality is sourced at the appropriate level and that the pricing paid is best in market.
In addition, the position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.Key responsibilitiesContinual development and management of the company's supplier base, including attraction of new suppliers and performance management of existing suppliersDevelopment and implementation of purchasing programs with sufficient lead time to manage the forward supply planContinue to lift demand of existing customers via effective development of current supply linesManaging the difficulty of adapting to changes in supply pricing and stock availabilityEnsuring all price rises are passed on in a timely manner to protect the company's marginEnsure that the purchasing team is constantly sourcing new and innovative products to promote to customersContinual development of the company's range to promote growthManagement of key suppliers that support the sales and marketing activity of the company,
