customers and operational controllersResponding to customer enquiries and providing updates on freight movementsIdentifying and resolving discrepancies in freight documentation and consignment detailsSupporting daily administrative tasks and maintaining accurate operational recordsEnsuring compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), transport regulations, safety requirements and company proceduresAssisting with the coordination of loading, unloading, dispatch and scheduling activities to meet operational deadlinesProviding day-to-day supervision and support to depot employees to ensure freight is handled safely and efficientlyCoordinating daily workloads, priorities and resource requirements across the depotSupporting driver allocation, dispatch activities and operational handovers to keep freight moving to scheduleMonitoring safety, compliance and housekeeping standards across the depot and escalating issues where requiredActing as a key point of contact for operational issues and assisting with practical solutions to minimise delaysSupporting the Depot Manager and broader Operations team with daily depot performance, staffing and operational requirementsWhat You'll Bring:Excellent attention to detail with strong data entry and documentation skillsEffective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with operational teamsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing prioritiesConfidence using computer systems and learning new technologiesA proactive attitude with the ability to take ownership and solve problemsPrevious experience in freight, transport, logistics,
