YOUR NEW ROLE
As valued member of the firm, reporting to & being mentored directly by 2 top calibre partners (industry leading specialist environmental & planning/construction lawyers) you will love primarily litigating (in Superior/Land & Environment Courts) on a full spectrum of intellectually stimulating +interesting disputes relating to:
- all aspects of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and related legislation;
- town planning, rezoning, development applications, environmental prosecutions/compliance, land access/acquisition, environmental impact assessments/approvals, cultural heritage/vegetation protection/contaminated land issues and climate change/sustainability, environmental risk.
Also opportunity to engage in a bit of non-litigation environment/planning work and also some construction cases (front and back-end).

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:
- are admitted as a solicitor in NSW;
- have minimum 2 years’ post-admission experience (up to Senior Associate level) in environmental/planning/local government law litigation (essential)+ some front-end/advisory experience in environmental and/or construction law (preferable, not essential);
- have robust communication, research, negotiation, advocacy and client management skills;
- are practical, adaptable, commercial, dead-line driven and results-oriented;
- are hungry to advance your career LONG-TERM as a specialist environmental/planning lawyer with a top specialist firm.
