Role Description

The SAP Customer Data Cloud (CDC) Consultant will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and deployment of SAP CDC solutions within digital transformation and customer experience programs. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, development teams, security teams, and integration partners to deliver secure and seamless customer identity and consent management capabilities across digital channels.

The SAP Customer Data Cloud (CDC) Consultant will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and deployment of SAP CDC solutions within digital transformation and customer experience programs. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, development teams, security teams, and integration partners to deliver secure and seamless customer identity and consent management capabilities across digital channels.

Required Skills And Experience

- 5+ years of Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) experience, including 3+ years of SAP Customer Data Cloud experience, with a proven track record delivering large-scale digital transformation projects. The individual should be capable of leading CDC functional design, supporting integrations, facilitating stakeholder workshops, and driving end-to-end implementation from requirements through to go-live.

SAP CDC Expertise

- Solid hands-on experience with SAP Customer Data Cloud (Gigya), including but not limited to:
- Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM)
- Registration and Authentication
- Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Social Login
- Passwordless Authentication
- Progressive Profiling
- Customer Account Management




- Consent and Preference Management
- Privacy Compliance Management

Solution Design & Configuration

- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable CDC solution designs.
- Experience implementing:
- Registration
- Screen Sets
- Data Schemas
- Site Groups and Site Administration
- Consent Statements and Preference Centres
- Account Workflows
- Policies and Security Settings
- Custom Data Models
- B2B module

Identity & Security Knowledge

- Strong understanding of:
- OAuth 2.0
- OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- SAML
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Identity Federation
- Authentication and Authorization concepts
- Privacy, Security and Compliance requirements

Integration Expertise

- Experience designing and supporting integrations between SAP CDC and enterprise platforms, including:
- SAP Service Cloud
- Confluent
- Hands on experience of:
- REST APIs
- Webhooks
- Event-driven integrations
- User profile synchronization
- Customer master data management

Business Analysis & Consulting

- Facilitation of business workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
- Functional specification development.
- Process mapping and fit-gap analysis.
- Impact and dependency assessment.
- Solution design documentation.
- Stakeholder management across business and technical teams.

Project Delivery Experience





The consultant should have proven experience across the project lifecycle, including:

- Discovery and requirements workshops.
- Solution design and architecture alignment.
- Functional configuration and testing.
- Integration coordination.
- Data migration and identity migration activities.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Production deployment and cutover support.
- Hypercare and transition to BAU support teams.

Testing & Quality Assurance

- Development of test scenarios and test cases.
- System Integration Testing (SIT).
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Defect management and resolution.
- Release and deployment validation.

Desired Skills And Experience

- Service Cloud, or broader SAP CX experience.
- Utility industry knowledge
- Knowledge of GDPR, Australian Privacy Principles (APP), and customer data governance requirements.
- Agile delivery experience.
