We are working closely with a substantial regional referral hospital in Queensland and are keen to connect with Consultant Geriatricians interested in a specialist role within an established public health service. This opportunity offers broad scope across inpatient geriatrics, rehabilitation interfaces and multidisciplinary older persons care within an integrated service workplace. Recent public role listings for this service describe the position as part of Geriatric and Rehabilitation Services and within an Integrated Care team focused on older patients across acute, rehabilitation and community settings.
The role is well suited to Fellowship-trained Geriatricians seeking a position that combines clinical variety, strong allied health engagement and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to contemporary older persons care across hospital and subacute pathways.

Requirements
- Eligible for registration with AHPRA
- Fellowship of the RACP or equivalent specialist qualification in Geriatric Medicine
- Experience in inpatient geriatrics, multidisciplinary older persons care and complex discharge planning
- Interest in service development, quality improvement and collaborative consultant practice
- International Medical Graduates assessed as substantially comparable, or preparing for specialist assessment, are encouraged to apply
