Our client, South East Regional Hospital, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Maternity team on a contract basis. This is a focused opportunity to bring your maternity expertise to a busy regional hospital, working across a defined period from mid-September through mid-October 2026. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of AUD$45.00 to AUD$60.00, reflecting your experience and qualifications in this specialised area of practice.

- Specialised maternity nursing in a regional hospital setting
- AUD$45.00 to AUD$60.00 per hour, contract-based engagement
- Four-week placement with clear dates and defined scope

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated experience and competence in maternity nursing
- Advanced Life Support (ALS)



certification current and valid
- Proven triage experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in cannulation and venepuncture techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced regional hospital environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification or specialisation in Midwifery or Maternity Nursing
- Current ALS certification and evidence of ongoing professional development in emergency or acute care
