The Role
We are keen to connect with Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrars interested in opportunities within a major regional referral hospital in New South Wales.
This role offers broad exposure across obstetrics and gynaecology within a busy regional service, working as part of a multidisciplinary team under consultant supervision. Registrars can expect experience across inpatient and outpatient care, labour ward, antenatal and postnatal services, gynaecology, emergency presentations and operative obstetrics and gynaecology, with increasing supported responsibility appropriate to training level.

This major regional referral hospital provides specialist services to a large regional population and forms part of a well-established health network.

- Major referral centre for surrounding regional and rural communities.
- Multidisciplinary women's health service with consultant-led care.

Training & Development
Training is centred on developing strong clinical judgement and procedural skills within a supported environment.

- Exposure across labour ward, antenatal, postnatal and gynaecology services.
- Consultant supervision with regular multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Opportunities to develop operative and emergency obstetric experience appropriate to level.
- Participation in departmental teaching, case discussions, morbidity and mortality meetings and educational activities.
- Rural network experience within an established NSW training program.

Requirements

- Eligible for registration with AHPRA.
- Relevant Obstetrics & Gynaecology experience appropriate to Registrar level.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Professional references.
