Port Lincoln Health and Hospital Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join Eyre Ward A and the Emergency Department on a two-week contract from 21 September to 5 October 2026. Based in Port Lincoln, South Australia, this role offers the opportunity to work in a rural healthcare setting where your emergency and remote nursing expertise will make a real difference. The position is remunerated at AUD71.54 to AUD92.71 per hour, with the MM6 Rural and Remote Allowance applied.

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated experience working in rural and remote nursing environments




- Solid background in emergency department practice and acute patient care

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a small, team-oriented healthcare team

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) or equivalent emergency care certification
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated competency in emergency nursing practice
