Your role
As the National Workshop Manager, you'll lead Atlas Copco's national workshop operation from our Blacktown facility, providing dedicated leadership to our workshop technicians and driving excellence in safety, quality, operational performance and customer outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead and develop workshop-based team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous growth.
Oversee workshop operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Drive workforce planning, scheduling and resource utilisation to meet customer demand and operational priorities.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimise workshop performance and processes.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Manage workshop performance through KPI reporting, budget oversight and commercial decision-making.
To succeed, you will need
Proven leadership experience within a workshop, maintenance, manufacturing or service workplace.
A strong commitment to safety leadership, with a track record of building and maintaining safe, compliant workplaces.
Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing performance and developing people.
Strong planning and scheduling capability, with experience managing workshop resources,
workload and capacity.
Experience driving Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives.
Commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, analyse KPIs and improve operational performance. * The successful candidate will be required to have full working rights in Australia and must have local experience.
