What You Will Be Doing
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, evidence-based and person-centred care to patients across Stroke, Cardiology, Overflow and General Ward streams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing clinical monitoring.
- Developing and implementing individualised plans of care.
- Administering medications and providing a range of clinical nursing interventions.
- Recognising and responding to changes in a patient's condition.
- Providing care to patients with stroke, cardiac and general medical conditions.
- Supporting the management of overflow patients and adapting to changing clinical priorities.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Working collaboratively with medical, allied health and nursing colleagues.
- Contributing to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Supporting patients and their families throughout their hospital journey.
You will be supported by the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Educators and experienced senior nursing staff, with a structured orientation and ongoing education to help you confidently develop within the role.

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
