Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office currently)

About the Chance

Seeking a Procurement & Finance Support Officer to join their Procurement and Accounts Payable team on a contract basis during a major ERP system upgrade.

This role has been created to assist with a backlog of procurement and finance administration work while supporting data updates and system maintenance throughout the project. The position is heavily focused on administration, data validation, record management, and procurement support.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Administration

- Raise and amend purchase orders and purchase requisitions.
- Maintain supplier, contractor, consultant and procurement databases.
- Monitor procurement transactions and ensure compliance with policies and approvals.
- Assist with procurement reporting and data validation.
- Track contract renewals and update contract registers.
- Maintain procurement documentation and records.
- Follow up approvals and purchasing requests.
- Respond to procurement-related enquiries from stakeholders.

Finance & Accounts Payable Support
- Assist with accounts payable and invoice queries.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Support month-end finance activities.
- Validate financial data and maintain data integrity.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding payments and purchasing matters.
- Prepare reports and support financial administration activities.

About You





We are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds provided you have experience in administration, procurement, accounts payable, finance support, or data-focused operational roles.

- Experience in Procurement Administration, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Finance Administration or Contract Administration.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience validating and cross-checking data.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using Oracle, SAP or similar ERP systems highly regarded.
- Confidence working with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
