We're partnering with a well-established property investment manager to appoint an experienced Property Accountant into a key role supporting a high-quality commercial property portfolio.

This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys working closely with operations, understands the commercial drivers of property assets, and wants to take ownership across reporting, budgeting, forecasting and capital projects rather than simply producing month-end numbers.

Working as part of a close-knit finance team, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end financial management of a commercial property portfolio (mainly retail). You'll partner closely with Property Managers, Facilities, and marketing stakeholders to deliver accurate reporting, budgeting and forecasting, while ensuring strong financial controls and compliance across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

- Monthly management reporting, reconciliations and variance analysis
- Preparation of annual budgets and regular forecasts
- Accounting and reporting for capital expenditure projects
- Management of tenant billings, recoveries and outgoings
- Annual outgoings budgets, estimates and wash-ups
- Review and maintenance of lease and tenancy financial information
- Property performance analysis and reporting
- Audit, tax and compliance support
- Stakeholder engagement across finance,



property management and leasing teams
- Supporting acquisitions, disposals, valuations and other ad hoc projects

About you:

- 5+ years Accounting experience within a commercial property setting, particularly overseeing retail assets
- Strong management accounting, reporting and reconciliation skills
- Experience preparing budgets, forecasts and financial analysis
- Sound understanding of lease structures and property accounting principles
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with MRI (highly desirable)
- CA/CPA qualification or progression towards completion (preferred)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
