This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to take ownership of a home assessing team across South Sydney and surrounding regions. You’ll play a key role in supporting your people, driving performance and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service.
With a strong focus on leadership, development and continuous improvement, this role offers the opportunity to make your mark within a growing insurance environment while maintaining plenty of variety and flexibility in your week.

Who will you be working with?
You’ll be joining an established home assessing operation with a strong focus on delivering quality outcomes for customers and building a high-performing team. The business values capable leaders who can bring people together, create accountability and help their teams succeed.
This is a newly available leadership opportunity where you’ll have genuine influence over team performance, service delivery and day-to-day operations. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and assessors across the region, with regular travel providing plenty of face-to-face engagement.

What will you be doing?
• Lead, coach and support a team of home assessors
• Monitor team performance, workloads and service delivery
• Provide guidance, feedback and ongoing development to team members
• Drive consistency, quality and efficiency across the assessing function
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Travel monthly to Wollongong and Canberra to support regional teams and operations

What do you need?
• Proven leadership or team management experience within insurance, construction or a related environment
• Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop others
• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
• A solid understanding of residential building, insurance claims or home assessing is highly desirable
• Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly between South Sydney, Wollongong and Canberra
