This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Home Assessor, Building Supervisor or Assessing professional with leadership experience looking to join a business that genuinely invests in its people, systems and future growth as a Team Leader.

The Desktop Home Assessing Team Leader plays a pivotal role in guiding and overseeing the Desktop Home Assessing Team, who are responsible for virtual assessments of impacted properties, cost validation, ensuring high scope accuracy and end-to-end management of claims assigned to them.

Working at the helm of an Adelaide based team, the Desktop Home Assessing Team Leader is responsible for organising ongoing training and coaching to the team, and ensuring that the Desktop Home Assessors are consistent and effective in their approach to virtual assessments and validation of Scope of Works.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Desktop Home Assessors
- Driving high standards across scoping accuracy, cost validation and claims management
- Managing escalated claims and complex customer matters
- Monitoring team performance, KPIs and operational outcomes
- Supporting process improvement initiatives across the Home Claims function
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and repair networks
- Providing ongoing training, feedback and capability development across the team
- Contributing to workforce planning and operational improvements

What We’re Looking For

- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within Insuraance, Home Assessing, Building, or Trade-related environments




- Solid background in estimating, scoping and assessing residential building repairs
- Ability to mentor, inspire and performance manage a team
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational and time management capability
- Experience handling escalations, complaints or complex claims matters
- Insurance industry experience highly regarded, but not essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within Home Assessing or the broader Building industry
