A global leader in digital transformation for the architecture, engineering, construction and manufacturing sectors has partnered exclusively with Hudson to appoint its Business Operations & Technology Director – ANZ.

As part of a prestigious international group, the organisation delivers world-class technology solutions, software integration and consulting services across complex industries. This senior enterprise-wide leadership appointment will report directly to the Managing Director ANZ and maintain close global relationships with the Global CIO, COO and technology leadership teams.

The incoming Director will lead the strategic alignment of business operations, enterprise platforms and digital enablement across Australia and New Zealand. The role requires an accomplished leader capable of translating commercial priorities into practical, scalable operating improvements, modernising core business systems, embedding intelligent automation and strengthening governance, cybersecurity and operational discipline.

Based in Brisbane preferred, or Sydney, this represents a significant leadership opportunity for an executive who can operate strategically while remaining close enough to the business to drive execution, deliver measurable enterprise value and shape how the ANZ organisation operates, transforms and scales.

Strategic Priorities

- Act as a trusted business operations and technology adviser to the Managing Director ANZ, translating commercial priorities into an integrated ANZ technology and operational roadmap.
- Drive the strategic ownership, scalability and integration of core enterprise environments, including Salesforce, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365/Business Central, Azure and modern collaboration platforms.
- Champion end-to-end business process redesign across Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Operations and Corporate Services,



embedding automation and AI where they create measurable business value.
- Partner closely with Global IT leadership to align ANZ technology, systems, cybersecurity and governance with global standards and initiatives while ensuring local business requirements are effectively represented.
- Lead ANZ technology and operational budgets, vendor relationships, managed service providers and investment business cases, ensuring expenditure delivers appropriate commercial and operational outcomes.
- Lead the people side of business and technology transformation, strengthening adoption, accountability, digital capability and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assess current-state systems, processes and capability, identify gaps and establish scalable operating disciplines that support future growth.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is an established senior leader who combines commercial judgement, enterprise technology capability and business transformation leadership.

- 10+ years’ experience in technology, operations or business transformation leadership within complex, multi-site or global matrix environments.
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise technology and business transformation initiatives.
- Strong experience implementing and optimising ERP, CRM and enterprise platforms, including Salesforce and broader Microsoft/cloud environments.
- Proven capability in business process improvement, organisational change, automation and technology-enabled transformation.
- Extensive experience in technology investment, vendor and commercial management, governance,



risk and cybersecurity.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across local and global environments.
- Experience within engineering, construction technology, software or qualified services is highly advantageous.
- M&A; or organisational integration experience will be well regarded.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
- ITIL, project management, change management, Lean Six Sigma and relevant technology certifications are advantageous rather than essential.

This role requires a leader who can move seamlessly between strategy and hands-on execution, bringing the judgement to simplify complexity, strengthen operational performance and translate technology investment into measurable business value.
