Role Overview
We are seeking two Mining Support Coordinators to deliver exceptional workforce support across mobilisation, compliance, onboarding, training coordination, workforce administration, quality assurance, and employee lifecycle activities.
The role is pivotal in ensuring candidates and employees are site-ready, compliant, supported throughout their employment journey, and aligned to client requirements. The Mining Support Coordinator acts as the central link between employees, clients, recruiters, site representatives, training providers, and internal operational teams to deliver outstanding workforce outcomes.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Workforce Mobilisation & Onboarding
- Coordinate end-to-end mobilisation activities for new and existing employees.
- Manage medicals, inductions, training bookings, competency verification, and site access requirements.
- Ensure all mobilisation requirements are completed within agreed timeframes.
- Liaise with employees, clients, training providers, and internal stakeholders regarding mobilisation requirements.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, flights, and logistical requirements where applicable.
- Support onboarding activities to ensure a positive employee experience.
Compliance & Quality Management
- Maintain employee compliance records in accordance with client and company requirements.
- Monitor licences, qualifications, competencies, medicals, and training requirements.
- Proactively manage upcoming expiries and renewals.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and quality checks.
- Ensure workforce records are accurate and maintained across all systems.
- Assist with internal and client audit requirements.
- Promote adherence to Protech quality standards and procedures.
Training & Competency Coordination
- Maintain training matrices and competency records.
- Coordinate refresher training, VOCs, site inductions, and mandatory training requirements.
- Liaise with RTOs, GTOs, training providers, and site training personnel.
- Support traineeship and apprenticeship programs.
- Track employee training progression and competency attainment.
- Assist with verification and collection of workplace evidence where required.
Workforce Support
- Provide ongoing support to employees throughout their employment lifecycle.
- Respond to workforce enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with roster changes, site transfers, return-to-work requirements, and workforce movements.
- Maintain regular communication with employees to support engagement and retention.
- Escalate employee concerns and workforce risks where required.
Client Support & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and site representatives.
- Provide mobilisation updates and workforce status reporting.
- Support workforce planning and mobilisation campaigns.
- Assist operational teams in meeting workforce requirements.
- Maintain qualified communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate employee records and database management.
- Complete system updates in line with company procedures.
- Produce workforce, compliance, mobilisation, and training reports.
- Create spreadsheets, trackers, and dashboards as required.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and within required timeframes.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve mobilisation, compliance, and workforce support processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
- Support implementation of new systems and processes.
- Share ideas and best practices with team members.
Team Contribution
- Collaborate effectively with Recruitment, Mobilisation, Operations, Payroll, and Client Service teams.
- Support branch and company objectives.
- Positively contribute to team culture and workplace performance.
- Undertake additional duties as reasonably required.

- This position is offered as a Maximum Term Contract for a period of 12 months
