About Us:
After 50 years in the jewellery industry, our Master Manufacturing Jeweller is retiring. My Jewellers has been a trusted destination for exquisite jewellery and diamonds for over two decades. We are now seeking an experienced and passionate Manufacturing Jeweller/Setter to lead our workshop and create bespoke custom designs using the finest metals and gemstones.

About the Role:
As our new Manufacturing Jeweller, you will bring your expertise in jewellery creation and stone setting to craft unique, high-quality pieces tailored to our clients' dreams. You'll have the opportunity to work with gold, platinum, and silver while designing and setting diamonds and gemstones in a variety of styles. In addition to creating new designs, you will also handle intricate restoration and repair work. You will meet with clients and help them design their custom pieces and communicate with staff on all jobs. This is a chance to showcase your creativity and craftsmanship while collaborating with clients and our skilled team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with our clients & staff to design and craft bespoke jewellery pieces.

- Interpret and sketch designs to meet client expectations.

- Manufacture jewellery using hand and machine tools with gold, platinum, and silver.

- Set diamonds and gemstones in various styles (claw, bezel, pave, etc.).





- Perform detailed restoration and repair work on valuable pieces.

- Oversee and delegate tasks to the bench jeweller and workshop technician.

- Handle high-value pieces with care and precision.

Requirements:

- Proficiency in all aspects of jewellery manufacturing and stone setting.

- Expertise in techniques such as soldering, setting, finishing, and restoration.

- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.

- Strong communication skills for working with clients and team members.

- Relevant qualifications and certifications in jewellery making (preferred but not mandatory).
