About the role

Kiama Bowling Club, a leading hospitality venue in Kiama, is seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our dynamic team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating delicious and innovative menus, and ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our customers. This is a full-time position based in our Kiama, NSW 2533 location.

Key responsibilities

- Developing and implementing creative and profitable menu concepts that align with the club's brand and customer preferences

- Managing kitchen operations, including staffing, inventory, food preparation, and quality control

- Ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and service

- Collaborating with the management team to drive revenue and profitability

- Fostering a positive and productive kitchen environment, and providing leadership and mentorship to the culinary team

- Maintaining compliance with all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations

About you

- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Head Chef or in a senior culinary leadership role within the hospitality industry





- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful menu concepts and managing kitchen operations

- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of chefs and kitchen staff

- Excellent culinary skills and a deep understanding of food preparation, presentation, and flavour profiles

- Adaptability and problem-solving skills to handle the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry

- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
