About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tandoor Chef to join our full-time team. You will have prior experience cooking over charcoal tandoors and be driven by quality. This position requires a commitment to cooking Indian food to a very high standard.

What we're looking for

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience working with tandoor ovens in a high-volume kitchen environment

- Proven expertise in traditional Indian tandoori cooking techniques and authentic flavour profiles

- Strong knowledge of Indian spices, marinades, and their applications in tandoor cooking

- Demonstrated ability to maintain consistent quality and presentation standards

- Excellent understanding of food safety, hygiene practices, and kitchen health regulations

- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced kitchen environment during peak service times





- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff

- Physical fitness and stamina to work with heat-intensive equipment for extended periods

- Passion for Indian cuisine and commitment to culinary excellence

- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications in Indian cooking preferred

- Experience in fine dining or members' clubs is highly desirable
