An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to join one of Australia's most respected national construction businesses as they deliver a significant, multi-year project in the ACT.
This newly created position will play a key role in driving commercial performance, procurement strategy, and contract management across a complex major project $200M+ project.

Your new role

Reporting into senior project leadership, your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and implementing procurement strategies across major trade packages
- Leading tender evaluations, negotiations, and subcontract lettings
- Managing commercial and contractual risk throughout the project lifecycle
- Providing strategic commercial advice to project stakeholders
- Driving cost control, forecasting, and contract administration processes
- Managing subcontractor performance and commercial outcomes
- Building strong relationships with internal teams, consultants, subcontractors, and clients
- Supporting project delivery teams to achieve key financial and operational objectives

What you'll need to succeed

- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or similar
- Demonstrated experience performing as a Contracts Manager, Commercial Manager,



or Senior Contracts Administration role
- Proven success delivering commercial outcomes on complex building or infrastructure projects
- Strong experience managing procurement strategies and major trade packages
- Demonstrated ability to identify, manage, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with CHEOPS, Aconex, or similar construction management platforms
