We are an award-winning manufacturer of premium continental smallgoods and are looking for an experienced and reliable Smallgoods Maker / Industrial Butcher to join our growing production team.

About the role

This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone with practical experience across different areas of smallgoods manufacturing rather than specialising in only one product category. You will be producing a broad range of smallgoods and operating a variety of industrial equipment in our temperature-controlled food production environment.

Key responsibilities

- Producing a broad range of smallgoods including sausages, cold cuts, ham, bacon and liverwurst

- Operating automated vacuum fillers and sausage hanging lines

- Operating fully automated and semi-automated clipping equipment

- Assisting in ham production, including operation of tumblers and ham-filling equipment

- Assisting with batching and preparation of meat mixes

- Operating industrial mincers, grinders and emulsifiers

- Preparing products according to recipes, specifications and production requirements

- Supporting different areas of production as required

- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, quality and workplace safety

About you, we would love:

- Previous experience in smallgoods manufacturing, meat processing or industrial butchery

- Experience operating sausage filling equipment is highly desirable





- Experience with industrial meat-processing machinery such as mincers, grinders, emulsifiers, tumblers or clippers

- Understanding of smallgoods production processes and food safety requirements

- Ability and willingness to work across different production areas

- Physically fit and comfortable with medium to heavy lifting

- Reliable, team-oriented and committed to producing high-quality products

- Strong attendance and a positive attitude

- Willingness to learn additional products and machinery where required
