An exceptional opportunity now exists for an accomplished and contemporary leader to join Adelaide Hills Council as Chief Executive Officer.

Reporting directly to the Mayor and Council, the CEO is responsible for guiding the organisation and implementing Council’s strategic direction through effective leadership, sound governance and organisational management. The role provides strategic advice to Elected Members while ensuring the delivery of efficient, community-focused services, strong financial stewardship and compliance with legislative and governance requirements.

Leading a capable and committed workforce, the successful candidate will foster a high-performance culture built on trust, accountability, collaboration, excellence, and innovation. You will oversee strategic planning, financial and asset management,



organisational development and major initiatives that support long-term prosperity, sustainability and resilience of the Adelaide Hills.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced executive with a proven track record leading complex organisations and delivering outcomes in stakeholder-rich environments. You will bring highly developed leadership capabilities, commercial and financial acumen, political awareness, strong communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships across government, business and the community. Experience successfully leading organisational change and continuous improvement, strengthening performance and influencing diverse stakeholders will be highly regarded.
