Client Growth Specialist

Location: Sydney CBD or Paramatta

Contract duration: 2 months - Working holiday visas are welcome!

Start date: As soon as possible

Hourly rate: $40.84 per hour + superannuation

Randstad is partnering with a client who is a well-established Australian, staff-owned boutique financial planning and wealth management firm operating since 1986. They deliver tailored financial advice and portfolio strategies to individuals, professionals, business owners, and retirees.

Your New Role:As a Lead Conversion Specialist, you'll be at the frontline of growth, connecting with prospective clients who have already expressed an interest in our client's services through marketing campaigns, referral networks, and business initiatives.

You'll turn initial interest into meaningful conversations, building trust, understanding prospective client needs, and converting qualified opportunities into appointments with Financial Advisers. This is a highly visible role where you'll see the direct impact of your work, helping turn new opportunities into long-term client relationships.

- Warm Lead Engagement: This isn't a traditional cold-calling role. You'll speak predominantly with people who have already engaged with marketing initiatives and shown interest in receiving financial advice.

Key Responsibilities & Processes

- Lead Engagement & Qualification

- Act as the first voice for prospective clients, engaging warm leads generated through campaigns, referral partnerships, events, and digital enquiries.

- Build rapport, establish trust, and understand prospective client circumstances, goals, and advice needs.

- Assess prospect suitability for financial advice services and manage inbound enquiries.

- Appointment Generation

- Convert qualified prospects into high-quality appointments with Financial Advisers while delivering a great candidate/client experience.

- Clearly explain the advice process and value proposition while professionally addressing objections.

- Ensure appointments are confirmed and appropriately documented.

- Pipeline Management

- Own your pipeline to keep opportunities moving and ensure quality prospects are followed up consistently.





- Maintain accurate records of interactions and track lead status within HubSpot and standard CRM systems.

- Client Experience & Process Improvement

- Deliver an exceptional, professional first impression aligned with high business standards.

- Collaborate with Advisers and support teams to ensure smooth client handovers.

- Provide feedback on campaign effectiveness, lead quality, and process refinement.

Performance Indicators & Measurables

Evaluating success through understanding the services (Get It), drive to achieve activity targets (Want It), and managing high-volume outbound engagement with high attention to detail (Capacity):

- Number of outbound calls completed

- Qualified lead conversion rate

- Adviser appointments booked & appointment show rate

- CRM compliance and data integrity

- Contribution to business development targets

Qualifications & Experience

- Essential:

- Background in lead generation, appointment setting, sales, client service, or business development.

- Strong verbal communication, relationship-building, and outbound calling confidence.

- Ability to build rapport quickly and comfortably discuss financial goals.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Highly Regarded:

- Experience within Financial Advice, Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance, Mortgage Broking, or Contact Centres.

- Hands-on experience with CRMs such as HubSpot or Salesforce.

- Proven track record in KPI- or target-driven environments.
