ATF Professionals is an established accounting and business advisory firm based in Ultimo, Sydney. We

provide accounting, taxation, corporate compliance, business structuring and advisory services to a

diverse portfolio of individuals and small to medium-sized businesses.

We are currently looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Practice Administration & Junior

Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is a broad role combining practice administration, client support, corporate compliance and junior accounting responsibilities. It would suit someone who has strong administrative skills together with

some accounting knowledge or experience and is looking to build a long-term career within an accounting practice.

Key Responsibilities

The role will include:

- Managing general practice administration and providing day-to-day support to Partners and accountants

- Communicating with clients by phone and email and following up outstanding information and documents

- Managing client onboarding, document collection and electronic filing

- Maintaining and updating client information in our internal systems

- Assisting with ASIC corporate compliance matters, including company changes and annual reviews

- Assisting with company registrations and corporate structure setup

- Assisting with family trust and other entity establishment procedures

- Conducting and maintaining AML/KYC client identification and compliance records in accordance with the firm's procedures

- Preparing and sending documents to clients for review and signature

- Monitoring outstanding tasks, deadlines and client follow-ups

- Assisting with basic bookkeeping and accounting work

- Preparing simple accounting workpapers and data entry

- Assisting accountants with BAS and tax return preparation under supervision

- Supporting the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the firm's internal administrative and compliance systems

- Other administrative and junior accounting duties as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:





- Fluent English, with strong verbal and written communication skills

- Solid organisational skills and attention to detail

- A professional and friendly approach when dealing with clients

- The ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and client follow-ups

- Confidence using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

- Good general computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly

- A responsible and proactive approach to work

- The ability to work independently while also being part of a team

- An interest in developing your knowledge of accounting practice administration, ASIC compliance and AML/KYC requirements

Previous experience in an accounting firm, bookkeeping, accounts administration or junior accounting role will be highly regarded.

Experience with ASIC processes, company registrations, trust establishments, Xero, MYOB or accounting practice software would be an advantage but is not essential, as training will be provided.

Accounting qualifications are not essential. Candidates currently studying or holding a qualification in Accounting, Business or a related field are also encouraged to apply.
