About the Role
You will play a key role supporting our Risk Advisers while developing the technical and practical skills required to become a successful adviser in your own right.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting advisers with client reviews and insurance strategy implementation.
- Supporting the preparation of advice documentation and review reports.
- Managing client communications including phone calls, emails and meeting coordination.
- Liaising with insurers, underwriters, medical providers and external stakeholders.
- Assisting with policy applications, underwriting requirements and policy servicing activities.
- Supporting clients through policy changes, claims and ongoing service requests.
- Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
- Participating in client meetings and adviser mentoring activities.
- Developing technical knowledge of life insurance, income protection, trauma, TPD and business insurance strategies.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- A recent graduate in Financial Planning, Finance, Commerce, Business or a related discipline; or
- An existing Client Service Officer, Associate Adviser or insurance professional looking to take the next step in their career.
- Passionate about helping people protect themselves, their families and their financial future.
- Interested in becoming a qualified Risk Adviser.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- A strong communicator who enjoys building relationships with clients.
- Professional, motivated and eager to learn.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Previous experience in financial planning, insurance, banking or professional services will be highly regarded but is not essential.
