As Madre Janus continues to expand its presence in the Australian market, we are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager – IT & Cybersecurity to build a strong pipeline of Australian customers and strategic relationships

Position Summary

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new business development, revenue generation, client acquisition, and strategic account growth for Madre Janus in the Australian market.

The successful candidate will engage with C-level executives, CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, IT Managers, Infrastructure Managers, Security Managers, Procurement teams, and business owners to understand their technology and cybersecurity challenges and position appropriate Madre Janus solutions.

Key Responsibilities

A. Business Development & Current Client Acquisition

- Identify, research, and target potential customers across the Australian market.

- Develop and execute a structured business development strategy for IT and cybersecurity services.





- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, digital channels, partnerships, and existing relationships.

- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise customers.

- Identify organizations with cybersecurity, managed services, IT infrastructure, cloud, endpoint, network security, and compliance requirements.

- Develop account-based sales strategies for high-value prospects.

B. IT & Cybersecurity Solution Selling

Develop a strong understanding of Madre Janus's IT and cybersecurity portfolio and effectively communicate its business value.

The candidate should be able to engage in commercial discussions around areas such as:

- Cybersecurity

- IT Services

Requirements

Essential Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- 5+ years of relevant B2B business development / sales experience, preferably within IT, cybersecurity, technology, managed services, or related industries.

- Demonstrated experience in generating and closing new business.

- Strong understanding of the Australian B2B technology market.

- Proven experience selling technology solutions or services.

- Experience dealing with senior business and technology decision-makers.

- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.

- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales cycles.

- Experience using CRM systems and maintaining sales pipelines.

- Ability to work independently and manage sales activities with minimal supervision.
