Achieve Something Great
Join a specialist Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit (BIRU) providing person-centred care to patients recovering from acquired and traumatic brain injuries.

You will assist to:

- Support patients through their rehabilitation journey by delivering holistic nursing care that promotes independence, functional recovery, and quality of life.
- Work as part of a skilled and collaborative multidisciplinary team, including nursing, medical, allied health, patients, and families, to support rehabilitation goals.
- Develop your clinical skills in rehabilitation nursing, including cognitive, behavioural, and physical care management, within a structured and supportive team environment.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture that values continuous quality improvement within the unit.

Are You the Right Fit?
You will bring to the team:

- A compassionate and patient focused Registered Nurse demonstrating a strong attention to detail, particularly in monitoring changes in cognition, behaviour, and physical function.
- An effective communicator with excellent active listening skills, able to engage respectfully with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation goals.
- Demonstrates flexibility and empathy when working with patients who may experience cognitive impairment, communication difficulties,



or behavioural challenges.
- Brings a collaborative approach to practice, contributing positively to team culture.
- Flexibility to work a rotating shift roster including weekends and public holidays.

- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
