Consultant Paediatrician | Regional Hospital | South Australia
The Opportunity
We are working closely with a well-established regional health service in South Australia to connect with a Consultant Paediatrician seeking a broad and clinically rewarding scope of practice.
This role offers a comprehensive mix of inpatient, outpatient, and on-call paediatric services, including general paediatrics, acute presentations, and neonatal care. You will provide high-quality clinical care while contributing to leadership within a multidisciplinary team, supporting junior medical staff, and participating in teaching, training, and service development.
You will also be actively involved in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives, with opportunities to contribute to research and continuous medical education.
This position is well suited to a paediatrician seeking clinical autonomy, continuity of care, and the ability to influence service delivery within a regional referral environment.

Requirements

- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) – Paediatrics (or equivalent)
- Specialist Registration with AHPRA (or eligibility)
- Demonstrated commitment to paediatric clinical care, teaching, and quality improvement
- International Medical Graduates assessed as substantially comparable
