Role: Network Outage Planner
Location: South Eastern Suburbs, Melbourne, Victoria
Randstad is hiring for a talented Network Outage Planner for a well known contractor working with the NSPs in the power distribution team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Network Outage Planner you will:
- Plan and coordinate works across electrical distribution networks
- Submit applications and secure outages and access approvals for planned works
- Schedule field crews and resources to meet project and client requirements
- Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors and network providers
- Provide guidance to field staff on client processes and requirements
- Support field coordination activities as required
- Maintain high standards of safety, environmental and quality performance
Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Electrical Distribution (desirable)
- Robust knowledge of outage planning and application processes (e.g. AusNet, United Energy, Jemena, Powercor, CitiPower)
- Experience coordinating works in electrical distribution or a similar environment
- Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
- Good understanding of electrical network construction and stakeholder requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with access-based systems (e.g. Codex) and contract administration (desirable)
