Coastwide Engineering has been operating since 1972. We employ 100+ people across multiple divisions and deliver fabrication, machining, maintenance, breakdown, shutdown and project work to heavy industry.

We’ve built long-term relationships with clients including BlueScope Steel and local mining and quarry operations.

The Role

We’re hiring experienced Workshop CNC Lathe Operator’s.

Your work will cover a balanced mix of:

- Follow company procedures at all times

- Take responsibility for your own safety and those around you





- Operate a CNC Lathe using FANUC control and Mastercam programming

- Project and Maintenance work

- Work during client shutdowns

- Breakdown response (including after-hours callouts)

- Overtime works

- Four day work week + overtime

About You

As a successful candidate, you will need:

- Trade Qualified Machinist (required)

- Experience operating FANUC control

- Mastercam programming desirable

- Proven industry experience (steel, mining, quarry, heavy industry)

- Ability to work unsupervised

- Robust safety awareness

Remuneration Package

$100,000 - $155,000

Monthly Production Bonus included in above

Monday – Thursday Roster (38hrs) + Friday/Saturday OT: 9.5, 9.5, 9.5, 9.5
