Our client is a large Federal Government agency seeking anexperienced Technical Business Analyst to join their team and support the delivery of complex technology and cloud-based initiatives.

The Technical Business Analyst will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications and support the design and delivery of cloud infrastructure, and complex IT solutions.

Responsibilities

- Engage with business stakeholders to discover, define, validate and prioritise business requirements
- Translate business needs into clear and comprehensive technical specifications
- Synthesise complex business and technical requirements and communicate these clearly to stakeholders
- Facilitate workshops and undertake business analysis activities including process modelling, requirements lifecycle management and data modelling
- Provide input into solution design to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives
- Support the documentation of systems and solutions being developed, delivered and maintained
- Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Extensive experience as a Technical Business Analyst, ideally with government or large enterprise
- Strong experience supporting cloud infrastructure projects, ideally across AWS and/or Azure




- Experience working within large, complex programs and establishing or structuring business analysis processes
- Solid process mapping, requirements gathering and documentation skills
- Experience with Jira and Confluence within Agile or specification-driven delivery environments
- Experience within large enterprise environments incorporating ITSM practices including change, incident and service request management
- Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and communication skills
- Azure Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner or similar cloud certification will be highly regarded
- Experience supporting the delivery of large-scale AWS or Azure native solutions will also be highly regarded
- Exposure to generative AI, design-first/spec-driven practices or the integration of GenAI tools within software delivery or testing environments would be advantageous

This role requires Australian Citizenship, with successful candidates eligible to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
