We’re partnering with an established global premium brand at an exciting stage of its Australian growth to appoint a Retail Operations & Business Development Executive. Combining multi-site retail leadership, commercial performance and new business development, this is an opportunity for an ambitious retail leader to step beyond traditional operations and play a genuine role in shaping the future of a growing Australian business. You'll take ownership of the performance of an established retail network while helping develop an entirely new B2B revenue channel.

The Prospect

Lead Retail Performance - Retail sits at the heart of the role.
You'll lead and support Store Managers while taking ownership of operational and commercial performance across the retail network.

- Drive sales, KPIs and overall store performance
- Coach and partner with Store Managers to improve commercial outcomes
- Support budgeting, forecasting and P&L; performance
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency
- Maintain exceptional customer experience and brand standards
- Support future store openings and retail growth
- Partner across key support functions to deliver business initiatives

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll understand what's happening across the network, identify opportunities and translate them into action.
Build Something New Alongside retail, you'll have the opportunity to develop a new B2B channel from the ground up. This isn't about inheriting a mature portfolio of accounts. You'll identify new commercial opportunities, open doors and develop relationships across areas such as corporate partnerships, hospitality and events. You'll be comfortable prospecting, developing tailored solutions, negotiating partnerships and turning opportunities into sustainable revenue.





Who Are We Looking For?

We're deliberately not defining the ideal candidate by a particular job title or number of years' experience. What you've owned, built and achieved matters more. You might currently be an Area Manager, Regional Manager, Retail Operations Manager or operating in another multi-site leadership position and ready for broader commercial responsibility. Alternatively, you may have built your foundations in retail before moving into business development, partnerships or commercial sales and want an opportunity that brings those capabilities together.

We'd love to see:

- Genuine multi-site retail leadership experience
- Strong commercial and numerical capability
- Experience driving sales and improving business performance
- An understanding of the levers behind retail profitability
- Exposure to B2B sales, partnerships or new-business generation
- Confidence opening doors and developing recent commercial relationships
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- The ability to adapt your communication style across different leadership environments
- A hands-on, solutions-focused approach
- Strong prioritisation and the ability to operate effectively in a growing business

The Package

- $120,000 base + superannuation + annual bonus + commission
- Expected first-year OTE of approximately $140,000–$150,000 + superannuation, with the opportunity for an attractive commission structure aligned to B2B performance.
