Located in the heart of Bundaberg on Bourbong Street, you’ll work alongside an experienced dental team in a busy and varied practice, gaining valuable hands-on experience while helping patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit.

Job Description

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play an important role in supporting our clinicians and helping the practice run smoothly throughout the day.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting dentists and clinicians across a range of procedures
- Providing chairside assistance and anticipating the needs of the clinician
- Preparing treatment rooms, instruments and equipment
- Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their appointment
- Maintaining clean, organised and well-prepared clinical areas
- Sterilising instruments and following infection control procedures
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver a positive patient experience

Qualifications

Ideally, you’ll bring:

- Previous Dental Assisting experience and/or a Certificate III or above in Dental Assisting is highly regarded, but not essential
- A friendly, confident and approachable manner




- Strong communication and organisation skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- Positive attention to detail and ability to follow processes
